yeah you have 6 (barring someone swapped 'em out already)......there are 3 on each side hugging your tranny

heres a pic of my dad and me putting onmy exhaust you can see 4 the other 2 follow the pipes up on each side to the headers hope it helps a little

Mine only had 4 cats, 2 actual cats and 2 pre-cats further up the mid-pipe. But mine is a 99 I don't know if the sn95's were different. I'll assume they were.

yeah i don't know why they put so many cats on the 96-98 but it looks like complete overkill once you get the H pipe off lol

i have a 99 and i had 6 as well. I think as far as new edges go, they have 6 if its a cali emissions car, but others have 4. As far as the 96-98s go i guess they all have 6 but not sure.

Wow thought someone would have answered this correctly by now, especially senior members.

4 Cats just like on mine, the two others are not cats they are resonators.
and two cats for each 4 cylinders are for emissions
