I too find it hard to believe this is "news to him". Maybe not paying very close attention? Weird.

I pulled mine last weekend with 11,000 on them. Came out no problem. No aerokroil needed and they didn't squeel on the way out either. Just put anti seize on the electrode shield and a bit on the threads. Back in they went.
