The guy is an idiot or doesn't want to deal with the questions.
ALL 3 VALVE V-8 FORD MOTORS PRIOR TO A BUILD DATE OF 1-08 HAVE THE SAME ISSUES WITH THE TWO PIECE SPARK PLUGS, I REPEAT...AAAALLLLLL OF THEM. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF IT'S A CAR OR TRUCK. IF IT HAS A 3-V V-8, MOTOR IT HAS CRAPPY PLUGS.
Sometime in late 07 early 08 Ford FINALLY responded to the problem by redesigning the heads spark plug receptacle (for lack of a better word). Instead of having the nose without threads go into the head they went with a more traditional plug.
Champion makes the ONLY 1 piece spark plug for the older V8 engines that had the issue (PN 7989)
