Thats what i wanted to know. Everybody says they sound just like frrp cams, but hell no it dont even come close the motha thumper cam sounds real aggressive. Frrp sounds good, but it aint got nothing on the motha thumper.

See my thread, just had them installed (link below). My car is a 60+ mile/day DD, rain sleet and snow. I would highly recommend at least 3.73's and probably 4.10's for this application. I had 3.55's and I can not imagine trying to nurse this thing through traffic with those still installed (I upgraded to 4.10's when I did the cams). From a MPG perspective, well that is another story. I have lost about 2MPG since installing the gears and cams, and I do about 60% highway driving at speed. Highway mileage has not dropped appreciably due to 5th gear, but city mileage is abysmal at about 11MPG on average in traffic over the first 500 miles. But then I didn't buy a Pony Car with the idea of taking on a Prius.

I went with the thumpr cam instead of the ***** thumper cam. The shop where I had them installed were more inclined to use the thumpr because you end of giving up to much torque with the ***** thumpr on a stock valve train. I any event, I wouldn't want anything more radical than the one of have. Believe me, it is very noticeable and shakes the car when at idle.

I didn't get a mustang to compare fuel bills to a Prius either. But I'd like to not make my mpg much worse than it has to be.
Wonder if a Brenspeed Stage I or II like Saleen setup would be better than a cam on mpg. Yeah I know other factors like $$$ and a lot more hp...

SirKnighTG - I have not compared the MT's to the Thumpr's directly, but I have run side by side with an '06 with a full Bassani Exhaust (O/R X) and FRPP's and can tell you that the MT's are far more aggressive and have considerably more lope.

That's what I've been thinking from comparing youtube videos.
I really like the lopey'er idle of the *****'s but I like how the FRPP doesn't lose low end like the Thumprs do. :/ Of course I was wanting to get 3.73s anyway.
