You generally don't want to add a turbo to an N/A engine, as you would have to build up the internals and spend way more than swapping in a turbo engine. You can pick up a turbo 2.3 engine at almost any junk yard, or search craigslist. They will be cheaper than any turbo kit. When you find a good engine, just come on back and someone will guide you through the swap. Is your tranny auto or manual? Auto is A4LD, and manual is T5 unless the previous owner swapped trannies.

Now about non-turbo power, it's going to cost a lot more money per horsepower. You can put in a bigger cam, a ranger exhaust header, a cold air intake, and maybe some porting and polishing. Doing all of that will cost a lot, but you will get a lot of power compared to the 105 that you have now.
