AWD - FTW!

Yeah I know that street tires don't cut it. In fact that can come up pretty quickly. Mishri can't keep his back end from swinging out on him at WOT right now and all he has is UDP,CMDP,CAI/Tune, and 4.10. Street tires, especially the stock ones, are completely inadequate at anything more than stock power levels.

Honestly even with the minor mods I have on my car right now I can sometimes lose traction at high RPMs going through 1st and 2nd gear. It feels like wheel hop because the tires are right on the edge - losing and gaining traction alternately. However if the pavement is nice and warm they don't do this as bad.

I like being able to do a burnout and all from a standing start but the fact is once I get a blower, even a centri, I'm going to get big wide tires on an 18x10 out back and they will be drag radials. I will drive around town on them too and just suck it up and pay the $$ it ends up costing me. I don't want to end up having to feather it at high RPM when I decide to go WOT. Probably going to try the Nitto 555R since they are not uber expensive and might last a bit longer than the MT or the M&H.
