Yeah I wanted to stay with 17's, so I had only 3 choices.
This video is the best example I have of a 400rwhp centri and stock tires. You can see that I take off normally in first then after a second or two I just dump the throttle. I hit 2nd fast, but didn't slam it. The new Falkens are somewhat better than this (but they are certainly not touted as a real high performance tire), so you can probably guess from there what a 555 might do for you.
