I just called them directly. They had an auction up on eBay for one with no reserve and a starting bid of $425. It had no "Buy It Now" however and there was a few days left. I just assumed if they were willing to let it go for that, that I could probably buy one from them directly. I was right.

I called and talked to David and just asked what he'd be willing to sell me one outright for. He put me on hold for a minute, then came back and just said he could match the auction, $425 shipped. He was real friendly and I received the shaft 3 days later. Good vendor, good quality, good piece.

I got the pinion flange version instead of the adapter plate since I was doing gears at the same time. They are the same price...

No clearance issues with the 4", but I am also not lowered. I believe they do sell a 3.5" shaft, but I have no idea how much it is.
