06' V6

I've noticed in the morning that the car seems to bog when starting. I'll turn the key, the RPM's will dive below 0, but they hang there for a couple seconds and then the engine will fire. The rest of the day, it seems ok starting up, where a second after turning the key, it fires. Would this point to a possible battery issue, and if so, what's a good test (Other than the voltmeter to the posts; I'll prob get 12V if I can drive it all day) Any other suggestions?
