i dream about getting the classic california plate, but there's a rule about the car having to be pre 195X(something) to qualify.

hell of a looking plate though.

 

I don't know about the specific law but I know I've seen cars that are not pre 195x having that type of plate on (sunday's at the woodland hills car & coffee) and also heard there's a shop that will redo the current plates in that color.
