I hadn't checked on that rumor in a while, but I just checked up on it and, turns out, it has been confirmed. There's also speculation that the EcoBoost V6 may be made as an alternative engine. This engine is also supposed to be slightly smaller and lighter than the current 4.6L. So... if the Stang was this close with a 315hp 4.6L and a 5-Speed, imagine it with a 400hp 5.0L and a 6-Speed. Keep in mind it shouldn't be any heavier. Good Bye, Camaro.
