Vacuum port on Holley 4160??
What is this port used for on my 4160? Nothing has ever been hooked up to it. The picture shows the front of the carburetor. Thank you.

I'm pretty sure that is for the electric choke, but I may be wrong. Do you have a picture of the hose that runs from your dizzy to the port i was asking about?

So I just found this picture and it describes the port I was talking about as "Full Manifold Vacuum Source connects to air cleaner and/or air pump diverter valve."
So if I don't have anywhere to connect it to my air cleaner (it's an aftermarket K&N) then where should it go?

It is the easiest way to access full vacuum for tuning. It also can be connected to your distributor if you are using full manifold vacuum (vs. ported vacuum on the upper nipple) for your vacuuum advance on the distributor. Also, if you have an aftermarket a/c unit that used engine vacuum to control the duct solenoids, connect it to that nipple.

if it was open (not blocked with a nipple), then my opinion is: "your engine ran like crap ..." ;-) please do block all unused vacuum ports

OK. Here is my question. I love learning how these carbs need to be hooked up. Anyways, The arrow I have shown, What is that? Is it a vaccum port. And the line which connects to that to the top of the carb. What is that for?
Thanks!
Thanks!
