I installed the FRPP CMCR plates (when they were around) and I did feel a bit of difference however nothing major, the dyno numbers are 6RWHP across the RPM range so a bit of a snap is good. As for the "bigger" bore plates if you had the C&L manifold and a centrifugal blower then it would be worth it.
