IMO i would take a year or two start with looks wheels, springs, a few exterior things here and there gt500 front facia is tits on those then move into suspension work nothing major at first then as you progress in your abilities and understanding of how things work and how to drive in certain situations then you can start adding power i personally didnt start doing anything with any sort of power unitll i felt REALLY comfortable behind the wheel of my car its been two years now i took it slow the first year or so now im starting to roll into it
thats just me dont go out make it fast then wreck it because you get squirly and over correct ive seen it happen too many times
