It's not exceedingly hard. It helped that I had a lot of tools at my disposal (thanks to my dad's).
I remember hitting a snag when trying to pull one of the vacuum hose off the side of the manifold. Had to use a small screwdriver to wedge inside that damned hose while yanking it. Disconnecting the sensor plugs was also kind of intimidating since I've never seen that type before. (Just pull back the red lock thingy, press the sides, and yank away)
And the two bolts that are hidden between the manifold runners; I anticipated any problems with Tacobill's instructions and just added some soft clay to the inside of the torque wrench to the bolt wouldn't fall off while taking it out or putting it back in.
I never separated the injectors from the fuel line, I just left them hanging from the side while I worked on the manifold... not recommended, but I didn't have the special tool to clamp the fuel line, and I sure as hell wasn't gonna risk the damage. They were never in the way of the installation.
And I took out the electrical motor that controlled the OEM valves. I looked kind of difficult to separate the valves off that thing, so out the whole thing went. (why keep something non-functional in your engine anyway? warranty work? Better to keep it stored safely away from the dust and engine heat, I say)
And well...just follow TB's instructions and you'll be fine.
