Longer strokes make more torque, just ask any big block owner. So, go with the 408. The price differance is so small, it just isn't worth worrying about.

For fun street duty, I like NA. It's easy to tune, inexpensive, and easy to live with. But, FI will definatly make more power, and has a much geater wow facter.

EFI will be easier to live with on a commuter vehicle. They start and run easer in inclement weather. They generllay make a smidgen more power, and almost always get better MPG. But, they can be expensive, and you can buy a lot of gas for differance between EFI and a carb. Not as much as you used to, but still a lot. EFI is my choice.
