I didn't since I didn't have a torque wrench.
Two years later, I have no problems. *knocks on wood*. I just followed the pattern.
I did feel an increase in the pull after 3k rpm, nothing major though.

Yeah I used a torque wrench, but now you've made me realize I may have used the wrong torque setting.
TacoBill's tutorial says to use 89 lb-in of torque. I remember reading somewhere that one guy snapped a bolt because he set his wrench to 89 lb-
ft of torque and kept going.
I set mine at 14 lb-ft, but I recalculated 89 lb-in = 7.4 lb-ft; so I may have used twice the torque recommended. Damn, I feel stupid. Oh well, nothing snapped.
I think I'll just revisit my parents this weekend and retorque all bolts to the proper specs.
