Default Did my retro solutions hids blow out?

My cousin drove my car to the gas station, parked it, probably 2 hours later, a co-worker told me that my lights were on, and i went out there, and sure enough they were on. I un-locked the car to turn them off, and the light switch was OFF. The lights were on for no reason? I tried starting the car, and it barely turned on. When the car was ON the lights turned OFF, and i actually turned the switch ON, and they worked. Let the car sit for a bit and then drove it around to juice up the battery a bit. Parked the car. 2 hours later, (time to go home) and my lights aren't turning on at all. My fogs work fine, but the headlights are out. I dont even hear the hid's whining noise. I don't have my owners manual with me, so i can't check if its maybe a fuse? Idk. Any help would be appreciated... thanks!

I agree check the fuse that comes off the battery or SJB (depending on where you got your power) and see if the fuse went....bet it did....

I installed mine last week and when I powered them on and then turned them off they stayed on.... I went ahead and turned then back on then off and they turned off. Hasn't happened since and though the ballasts are water resistant....moisture can get into anywhere (including fuse blocks) and cause issues.

The headlights work off of the SJB.
Go up front and bypass the SJB and manually provide
12V to the relay for the HIDs. If they come on, its either
your headlight switch (cheap piece of plastic junk) or
the SJB or associated wiring. The headlight switch is wired
for failsafe operation. The headlight request wire from the
headlight switch is grounded when the headlight should be
off and ungrounded when the headlights need to be on.
If the switch breaks or the wire to the SJB from the headlight
switch breaks, the headlights will illuminate but the auto power
down feature should turn them off after a while. Sounds like
you have the dreaded underdash water dispensor option we
didnt want. The SJB is all wet and corroded and the problems
will just keep getting worse until nothing electrical thats controlled
by the SJB will work. Passengers side carpet/pad wet? Any
signs of mold indicating that this has been an ongoing problem?
