Your '88 TC has the factory boost controller on the passenger side fenderwell. Use that for now. It limits your boost to a reasonable level. Here's a pic.
Once you get your Mustang running and tuned properly then you can switch to an adjustable boost control and crank it up. This is the one most TurboForders use.............................
