Very true! Matching components is key. I have a blueprinted, port-matched 289HP that puts out smokin' power, because everything matches. Runs with virtually no vibration in the shift lever, even on the highway at speed. Actually kinda weird.
I have seen a lotta cars at cruise night with chrome everything, 8mm wires, 2.5" exhaust, 750 double-pumper, etc., and they run like crap.
