It's a band-aid for poor driving. That's why I keep resisting them. And if I get them and eventually get FI then I'm back to the same problem again.

I admire your will to get better on street tires. The best advice is to slip the clutch. You'll have to toy with your launch RPMs but your really going to have to ride the clutch. Take it from someone who doesn't have rear wheel drive traction in his favor. As far as the DRs being a band aid you can only take street tires so far. If your getting 1.9 sixtys thats about as good as it gets. DRs are just another mod and they'll gain you another 3 tenths on your sixty.
