Thanks for the info. I'm not really trying to get it to sound like anything, I'm just trying to make sure it's not going to sound like total crap. I need to get rid of the one I have (I don't know that it's been replaced in the twenty year life span of the car). I want to just cut it out for now, instead of replacing it.

Has anyone done this and had bad results?? Thanks guys.
