ive done the swap also. currently getting my bottom end rebuilt 20 over with cp pistons
new rings wrist pins, rod and main bearings the works. Long story short i would say to you find someone selling a swap for about 500 depending o n its condition have it rebuilt maybe not. start off with the big vam and la series ecu also make sure your injectors are flowed and tested, or at least a known good set. Your going to want to upgrade to a 8.8 diff asap maybe a set of 3.73 gears. Just know that for the most part it is a straight forward swap but there are aspects where u will have to use your ingenuity to make things work (clutch cable for one) a nd expect to be runing back and forth between hardware stores and parts stores lol. Its fun though and a good learning experience. You need money i will tell you that
