You could always buy my semi-gloss black rear spoiler. It is less noticeable I think, and looks great with a front spoiler.

07musclemustang - Post some pics when you get a chance. I'd like to see how that job turned out.

I really think I'm going to try it and see how it turns out. If I don't like it I can always re-install it. Is there sticky foam tape between the spoiler and the trunk lid from the factory?

Yes, there is sticky foam tape between the pedestals and the trunk lid.

you could always put the GT500 spoiler on it. They have them on eBay for around 100 dollars already painted.

The plugs look fine on a black car but I would want them color matched on any other car.

Actually.....I really like the GT500 spoiler. If I can't have the smooth deck lid, that would definitely be my choice. Thanks for the tip.

Does the GT500 spoiler mount using the same hole locations as the GT?

clentonz - Now, I honestly don't mean this to sound as smart@$$y as it's gonna, but - We're talking about holes through sheet metal, what were you expecting?

Factory GT500 spoilers use the same 4 holes. Most aftermarket GT500 spoilers use 2 of the original holes and two outer holes towards the edges. Now, 2/3 of the people that use the aftermarket GT500 spoiler only use two holes and the 3m tape with no issues.
