Would I need to get new pistons, etc. to hold the pressure, or is the stock system strong enough? Also, how reliable is it? Will it slowly wear away at the quality of my actual engine until it kicks out in a year or two?

I've been scouring ebay and craigslist for prices on used GT engines. So far I have found:

Just the engine - anywhere from $350 to $1,350
Whole donor car - from $1,000 to $2,500

There is a chance the one for $350 doesn't have everything I need, but I have a lot more to look at before buying anything.

edit:
keep in mind those are all from different years too. I am looking at anything from 94-04 currently. 99-04 preferred

second edit:
I just looked at the specs again, because I forgot the HP on the different years, and I remembered why I originally decided if I was going to do a swap that I should get something from 99-04, it definitely is not worth it for the 94-98 engines...

94-97: 215 HP
98: 225 HP
99-04: 260HP

I also just checked out the M112 sticky at the top of the forum... I do NOT want to modify my hood or get a new one. I want my car to look exactly the same from the outside when I am done.
