I have a 1998 V6 Mustang. It has the Mach 400 sound system. All four 6 x 9 speakers are producing no sound at all. The problem just started out of no where. The four small tweeters still work fine, but the 6 x 9's won't produce any sound. I removed one of the speakers and had it tested, and the speaker itself is fine. This started with the factory head unit installed, and I replaced that with a Pioneer deck that I know works fine. It didn't do anything to solve the problem. A guy at an audio video place said he tried bypassing the amp, but that also didn't solve the problem. I'm really running out of ideas here. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas? I'd really appreciate it.
