All the perf upgrades are going to cost you $$. there are allot of little changes that are cheap DIY's, that don't cost $200-300-$400. Pertronics ign and coil, then open the plug gap. Re-jet your carb, K&N air filter, advance the stock timing to 10-12 degrees, etc, etc. this are little inexpensive things that can be done up front before you dump big money on HP parts. But, if you got the $$, exhaust, re-jet carb, intake, cam, and last but not least, heads, in that order.
