Default HOLY TRICKFLOW NUMBERS!

Probably not expecting to see this from a 4v guy but i was impressed to say the least.

sorry for linking to another forum. These are the meat and potatoes.

"--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just got done with the first dyno on our first Trickflow car.

The car is owned by Chris Durbin and was already a built 2v. It was ported PI heads, stock intake, Comp 278 cams, C&L plenum and a Mac cold air intake. Numbers were 305 rwhp / 316 rwtq on 93 octane.

We decided to only swap the heads to get a good comparison. Plus he wasn't after alot of power as he run the car in NASA American Iron and it has a power to weight ratio spec. We swapped on the 38cc heads.

I'm happy to say the gains were what we were hoping for if not better! Obviously we picked up about a point of compression with the swap but we are still running pump gas.
New numbers are

353 RWHP 357 RWTQ

That peak gains of 48 rwhp and 33 rwtq!

I'm sure with a better intake and cams ground specifically for this setup there is plenty more on the table. Then add some porting some some tricky stuff to the shortblock and big power NA 2v's are going to become a reality. "
