thanks dude. its wierd though; i pulled ALL of my fuses last night, because of a hunch, and some of them don't line up as shown in any of the diagrams i've seen. I mean the amp rating on my fuses don't line up to ANY of the diagrams.

BUT, on the upside, i was right in my hunch b/c one of my fuses was blown. AND that same fuse triped the check engine light, threw back 2 error codes, caused my speedometer + odmeter to stop working, and caused my cigar lighter to stop as well. I was DAMN close to going right to what the error codes said and replacing the VSS(vehicle position sensor); until i realized that my speed cal was powered by the cigar lighter. Thats when i had an idea....that actually turned out to be right (this time).

So if this happens to anyone else, before you do anything you may want to check the fuses.

Default Your Owners Manual Would Be The Most Accurate!

If you don't have your owners manual, you may be able to pick one up from Ebay. The fuse diagram in the owners manual I would think, would be the most accurate info out there. If someone owned the car before you, they may have mixed up the fuses. May be a good idea to get them installed properly, where they belong. I'll see if I can find another fuse box listing that you can compare with. I'll post it here as soon as I get that info. Glad you found your problem. Good luck, Tommy.

Default 2003 GT Mustang Central Fuse Box

Here is a different Central Fuse Box diagram I found that is for a 2003 GT Mustang. This one is different from the rest that I have seen, like the one I posted previously of which I got from my AllData Online repair manual. I also checked with AutoZone. Their diagram is exactly the same as the AllData diagram. But this one that I'm now posting is different. Perhap's this one matches up with what you have. I had to take pictures of it to post it here, so it may not be that easy to view. You may need to use a magnifyiing glass to view it. Hope this helps. Good luck, Tommy.

I checked the Download Manual Provided by CliffyK, all the fuses there are situated the same way that they are here. Based on that, looks like this is the correct fuse box guide for your vehicle. Good luck, Tommy.
