Why? It would probably be as useless as most state licensing tests...if those things were a challenge at all maybe there wouldn't be so many idiots out there.
All kidding aside though: I have faith in my abilities behind the wheel, but given what many production cars are capable of these days I wouldn't be opposed to some sort of graduated licensing similar to motorcycle licenses in other countries (250cc or less for one year or something in Canada maybe? I can't remember now). The problem with that is what metric would you use? HP? Torque? Top speed? Displacement? And how would you reliably (and cheaply) test for the ability to graduate to those higher-performance cars? Not to mention automakers would probably throw whatever lobbying power they have left around to stop legislation that would prevent people from possibly buying their flagship vehicles.
Enough about that. This car is damn fun. Compared to the old car it handles like a dream and pulls harder than hell. My temp tag already came off the dash and nailed a passenger in the forehead. To top it off all the toys are just fun to play with. The mycolor stuff is fun but the sync system is just great. The phone quality is amazing and its all really intuitive. The only thing I have a problem with is that the audio defaults to bluetooth (my phone) and not USB (ipod) and I have to manually change it every time. Oh well, since that's my biggest complaint I'm pretty happy.
