I've had my needle buried while I was stock. The problem is once you hit around 140-145ish you have to shift into 5th... and there's just no power in 5th and it doesn't seem to go any faster. I figured out how to show my speed on my GPS. So someday i'll get a friend in the car with me to watch the speed on that while I drive it. BTW My GPS shows me going about 3mph slower than what my Speedo says, at any speed. I think the GPS is more accurate. But anyway... supposedly our cars are supposed to be drag limited stock to about 138, but that's probably with 3.55 gears. And that should be about when 4th gear ends. Unless you've got some serious power, 5th gear isn't gonna do much.
