Default Boomtube Problem.. New Exhaust Ideas

I've had my single boomtube for 5-6 months. I really liked it. Recently a weld broke or something. I have a real bad rattle inside the boomtube. I took it off yesterday and put the stock back on. I think im just gonna go ahead and do duals sometime this week. Hopefully Tuesday.

My idea is to have Midas fab me up a 2.5" h-pipe. I would also be running the Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. I am soon to be getting some shorty headers as well, but it will be a few months.

Anyone have an idea if this set-up would sound mean and loud?

When I had the boomtube I got many great compliments on it. I even had one guy think I had a Bullitt. Probably because of my billit grille. I had to explain to him that it was only a six and the single tailpipe confirmed that haha.
