I used to work 2.5 yrs in a body shop, started out as a go-getter, and played out my last year plus as head painter. We've done fiberglass hoods before, one that sticks out in my mind was a ram air on a Dakota, but never aftermarket fenders...
The only thing that makes me a little nervous about it, and is the reason for me posting the thread, I don't want to order it, and have problems with the body lines matching up, or headlight gaps being way off, stuff like that. If the gel coat is wavy and needs straightening, that's cool, and as posted above, for that price, I'll gladly pay to get the prep work done up top-notch. I was just hoping for some first hand experience with these particular parts... Has anyone seen steel heat extraction fenders available?
