Newbe here, and also new to S197 model mustangs, my last stang was a 79 Indy pace car, so ya it's been a while, my question is, I have a new 2010 GT ordered and it is scheduled to arrive mid Aug. I want to install FRPP hot rod cams, I understand I'll need a tuner, anyone want to suggest one? and will it allow me to make changes or will I have to down load tunes? I have access to a chassic dyno, and wide band. What I really want is one I can make changes with on the spot at the dyno, I plan on other mods but want to start with the cams and shorty headers, I did search the site for several hours looking before I ask, one more question, I'm looking a JBA and BBK shorty headers, is there a better HP shorty then either of those two? Thanks

 

I've been advised that there are not any tuners that support the 2010 ECU.

 

I'd advise you not to tune the car yourself. It opperates off of about 50 different sensors and the fuel map is very complex. there have been lots of problems with the FRPP cams and tunes, just get a professional who's familiar with mustangs to dyno tune it.
