I should've seen something coming...I got 3 runs in yesterday...all 13.8 at 100 (100.64, 100.67, and 100.96) and I normally trap at least 104 but lately been 107-108. All 3 were really good, I thought. I only picked up 4-5mph between the 1000' and 1/4 readings when I normally pick up between 12-14. I dunno.
Were you at Milan last nite? What color is your car? If so i was there with a buch of buddy's with their mustangs.

I was. I'm a reddish orange (I call it red. Technically it's "competition orange" I believe?). Sixxer body with a Mach chin spoiler. Quiet. I was there from 5-6:45ish.

How many passes did you get in?

3 from 5-6:30. I had to run to the shop and get air in the tires for the last 15 minutes. Were there a bunch of break-downs later on or what? It was ridiculously busy yesterday but that's probably because it was so nice. I'm just mad I couldn't even get near by PB even with what seemed like perfect runs.

That's exactly what happened! 2 break-downs (that i recall) that made things much worse! One of them must have been bad, because we were waiting over an hour in the staging lanes.

Yeah, i could've done a little better as well! I need more runs to perfect my launch.

Despite the warm weather, today was a pretty good day to go race. Barely any cars there, at most there may have been 20 cars in the staging lanes. I ran 6 times total, got a thread in S/S about it.

I'm gonna post a thread soon about a future track day in the fall months, when the weather is cooler. If you guys are able, consider a date.

We had a good time at Ubly Dragway yesterday. Nice tail wind (it runs west to east and with our prevailing west winds you tend not to get a head wind there). There were only about 20 cars total there the whole day - sort of like Lapeer where you can hot lap all day if you want to. But the track is in very good shape. Have to go up in the tower to get your time slip though, the hut on the return road wasn't manned. They are also still working on some of the "amenities" - they took out the old bathrooms and have porta potties spread around the pits, and the snack shop is basically under a tent outside an old building.
