I have a Pioneer Avic D3 stereo/GPS and my battery went dead after 8 days vacation. I bought my car around the middle of October 2007. This is the first time it's gone dead. I did not take out the GPS DVD or turn off the radio. I also had a power converter connected inside the car that allows hook up of a standard electrical plug. That stayed in during my vacation. I haven't checked the water in the battery. I guess I should do that in the morning. I jumped the car with our Escape, drove it about 15 minutes and it started fine the next morning. Something's draining that battery. I guess there are lots of small electrical drainage items in these cars.
