Default dual exhaust

To get dual exhaust on a v6, do I need to get a new back bumper?

And which exhaust system would yall recommend? I know nothing about exhaust systems. I just want a louder, deep sound.

Thanks.

I actually preferred my cut V6 bumper, but it was cheaper to replace it with a GT take off when I was rear ended. The picture is a little dark because it is hard to get a good shot on the black car

yeah just cut it. You'll see more of the exhaust tips and it makes the car look more muscular imo. I love the look of my bumper that way and am only changing it already because I found a great deal on a GT500 bumper

The best template to use is from pypes. I have the pdf for it and I haven't cut mine yet but I have placed it on my car and it is dead on. Let me find the link and I will edit this post.

EDIT:

Works, everyone who has this kit swears by it. Make sure to print it actual size though!

^thats right forgot about the template. Definitely very useful. I used the template and my muffler shop said it was the first time they've had a customer cut their own bumper without any issues

When I put on my duals, I was unsure if I would like the v6 bumper cut out. I bought a GT bumper and had it painted. Between the bumper and paint I had an extra $400 in the exhaust system. If you like the look of the V6 cut out than that is a way to save some $$.

Now that I see some pictures on here I guess I really don't mind the V6 cut out. Oh well it done now! FYI I have a v6 bumper skin if anyone needs one.

I think the V6 cutout looks great. i'm not a fan of the GT bumper at all.
