Which supercharger to buy
Just my .02 cents.
Well, lets see the dyno sheets. I got mine here. I want to see a BONE stock V6, make more power than a GT. BTW, what is this psi stuff. Are we talking boost levels? If so, boost is all relative, depending on restrictions. You could read 8 pounds on one set up, improve the intake runners and exhaust manifolds and boost will drop. Less restriction. The GT went 12.77 at 112 on street tires.
WTF, Bone stock V6 make more than a GT? What pipe are you smoking? (Maybe it's just worded wrong.)
I said V6 vs V8 with the M112.
The Tork Tech set up makes the same power on a 4.6L GT as the Hammerhead set up can on the V6. And it's WAY over priced for the numbers the cars put down when comparing it to other blowers for the 4.6L SOHC.
And yes, we all know boost is a measure of resistance. I was using it to compare the flow charactoristics between the two motors.
For the $4,700 the TT sells for, you're GT better run faster than a 12 second quarter.
For the $2,400 for the V6 version of the M112, you can run faster than that. I think the time was 11.9 on a stock V6 with the M112 (yes, street tires). I'll have to double check to confirm that number.
