I don't see how you could run 140+ in a stock eclipse seeing as how the speed limiter is set at 135? My turbo eclipse hits 135 and shuts down.

For the love of god, eclipse GSX's HAVE NO SPEEDLIMITER!!!!!!
Only the FWD models have one at 135 due to there crappier tires. Read up.
They are gear limited stock to about 172mph and quite a few people have gotten stock ones above 150-160mph.

Umm yea, gear limited and drag limited are two totaly different things, my car is geared to go well over 200 mph, but I am not ignorant enough to actully think the car will do that fast.
