Alright guys, so the car was placed on the back burner for a bit. I've been working some serious OT and haven't had time to do much of anything. (I really hate working 36 hour shifts... but thats whole other story.) Anywho, I'm going with the reconditioned Edelbrock, (650 Thunder Series) and was wondering if any of you guys knew if I needed any kickdowns, lift up levelers, fancy make'it fits or anything else. I'm not sure of what all I'm needing to buy with it to be able to bolt on and go. Its going on the original 289 in a '65 coupe. The intake Edelbrock recommends looks like its the Edelbrock performer 2121 intake. Summit had a decent deal on them. Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
