there we go now we getting some real answer that i am looking for. i dont want to do all that. at least not right now.

thanxs for the help. guess a 302 will be the way to go. save the 3.8 for a later project. after i learn somethings

Well a 302 will require the same parts, suspension, cooling, rear end, etc, however the parts are easier to find (wink wink the foxbody actually used the 5.0), and are probably much more affordable. You could probably make 3.8L parts from 79-85 4 eyes work, but you're taking a gamble with parts that old, a huge gamble.

you need a k member from a 79- whatever that had a 3.8L V6 in it from the factory. heavier springs. a new wiring harness for the engine and ecu. upgrade to a svo fuel pump. and have fun with everything else. i would honestly just grab like a 1985 LX with a 3.8L and swap the supercoupe motor in that. or sell me the motor for my t-bird XD
