I'm not talking about what should happen in a perfect world. I'm talking reality. Your battery may have gone bad in that length of time. If you have the original battery, it should have battery caps. If you don't already have a battery hydrometer, buy one for about $5. Check each cell. If you find one or more bad cells, then ask the dealer for a free replacement, assuming you are you are still within the 3/36,000 bumper to bumper warranty.
