well as we work our way along my adventure

i got it all back together : had the heads mill'd .oo12 and got a .oo20 soft copper shim

coolant is staying where it belongs

has a tap which i figure is a rocker needing a lil more than factory torque

rough idle i chased down to the camshaft sensor

pulled the old one off and with new part in hand couldnt help but notice it was missing the center plastic assbly area where the magnet is located and the top of the shaft where the the sensor circles around wasnt remotely close to half moon shaped

tried to straighten it but to no avail dont want to buy another sensor

the magnet had fallen out when it got hot and melted the plastic housing and rode the rim of the c shaped top of the sensor assembly and bent it all to hell before settling jus inside the c

clearance on the new sensor is quite small so i think im stuck replacing the housing least everything else is ok so far

any ideas on where to order/purchase a replacement housing unit

oh yeah the good news is i have to nearly perform rocket surgery to align everything b4 i remove and replace the damned thing

gods i hate fixing stuff idiots break b4 i buy it

thx in advance for any input doods and doodettes

on a side note anyone in SW Oklahoma interested in a '72 mach 1 fixer upper lemme know
