1991 5.0 Convertible
Mac headers, exhaust, CAI, 70 mm throttle body, underdrive pullies, blacked out Cobra R wheels, smoked headlights and smoked Euro/Altezza tails. Original LX spoiler/luggage rack was cut down to just the spoiler and recycled; Blaupunkt London cd player with MP3 aux, Polk Audios in dash and rear inside quarters, Fosgate 10" and Fosgate 500 amp in the trunk, generous quantities of Stinger sound deadener, custom paint and interior. About to improve and expand on the sound system. Auto tranny is getting tossed next time it so much as hiccups, 5.0 is about to be rebuilt - rings are smoking like a freight train but still runs like a scalded dog. The paint job explains why I call him the Nyghtmare - and yes, this car is a "he" dunno why, just feel like it. This was taken at a car show last November - you can see the tops of mine and my son's head behind the car. While my husband and 12 yr old daughter go hunting and fishing, my 8 yr old son and I do the car show thing. Its his job to run the car duster, and he takes his job very seriously!
The engine bay pic is before I detailed it out... that was the last unexplored territory for my clean up jobs. Didn't take many shows to realize I need to get out the Simple Green and be prepared to get bloody and greasey. (can a person detail an engine bay and NOT get cuts and scrapes? Sheesh.)
