Default 26 spline input shaft

Hey guys,
This might come as an unusual question, but can you upgrade the input shaft to our transmissions(t3650)??? I need a new clutch and im thinking about upgrading the input shaft to a 26 spline one if i can to beef up the strength of the transmission as a whole. Am i able to do this and if i can, which brand, like liberty or d&d, would you suggest??? Thanks for reading guys. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

How did you like your centerforce clutch??? Im looking at getting one of them. I think it was the DF clutch. Its the cheapest one but i heard it felt like you were driving a honda. And how do you think it helped out??? Do you think that it made it a lot stronger or not as much as you hoped for???

Promotion has one for $379 + core. Not worth it until you break the stocker IMO.

JayC, which part were you talking about??? The input shaft or the clutch??? Because i didnt think that you could rebuild either one and if you are refering to the input shaft, i could get a liberty 26 spline from lethal for like $269 or something and a centerforce clutch for like $400. Could you tell me what youre talking about???

And Ryan, how much power are you running and how do you drive your car that the clutch is slipping???

So is the one from promotion better than liberty's because i got the wrong number for the input...its $345 from lethal for the liberty one without a core. So is the PM one better than the liberty that its more expensive than the liberty...and then you have to send yours back???

Edit: And i just found on LFP that i can get a 26 spl input for $299. So input on that...hey...fat man made a funny. lol

My buddy just put his centerforce dual friction clutch in and he says it feels like the stocker but is an overall better feeling/performing clutch.

I am running close to stock HP... I use to beat the hell outta my car(Street Racing alot) not so much any more,.. Clutch is like 3 years old now, and it has taken some abuse.

How much is it going to cost you to do the Input shaft? (labor if not doing ur self?)

Depending on your power goals,I would just save the cash and spend it on a built tranny.. Dont matter if u build up the Inut shaft, and clutch the ****ty synchros are GOING to go..

When i installed the Input shaft my tranny was already apart, I got the Clutch Dirt Cheap along with the input shaft.... 3 months later Different Synchros Went and 5th all together... BYE BYE 3650, Hello Tko600....
