I was cruising home tonight from work when this 4 runner tail gated me for a good three miles. When lanes cleared he pulls next to me and says my corvette is wayy faster. I play modest and say I bet it is but you're gonna need at least 550 and gased it so he could hear my sc go wheeeeeeeee lol I'm pretty sure I've seen him around town in a black c6 so if you ever lurke these forums I'm game!!

 

How much hp are you makin?

 

A 550hp C6 will kill a blown 3v. A stock LS3 C6 is not a bad match against a blown 3v jsyk.

 

You two need to make it happen. Roger lives in the South Bay and this boy lives in the OC. Blown S197's kill Z06's all day.

 

can your AMG keep up with the z06? 515bhp is kinda powerful considering german tech. I'd say is a good race!

 

On what day is this, opposite day?

 

My Z06 is full bolt-on and dyno tuned, but even if it were stock, it would swallow up my Benz pretty easily..

Now those blown S197s...thats what Im afraid of !!

Rogers i'm making 470 whp so roughly 550 crank. I pull on stock and lightly modded C6's. My last race 40-130ish roll with a stock Z didn't go too well for me but that was after 115. Up until then it was a good race haha

 

A stock C6 is what, 430hp @ the crank? So around 380 whp? Weighs about 200 pounds less than a 3v GT?

I guess that all depends on what blower the 3v is running. A vortech non IC w/the canned tune might be a close match. Anything better than that and the 3v should win. At least in a 1/4 mile race.
