I would only put a racing seat in my car if it was a "track only" car. I kinda just like two tone seats like the 03 cobra seats.

But i think the seat looks good man.

03 two-tone cobra seats = sex. PERIOD.

OP I like the seat tho. well, as long as your car is silver or black on the outside!!! (what is your exterior color?)

5th gear is absolutely useless unless your just cruising on the high way, not sure how much more useful it could be.

The seat is very comfortable, especially for being a fixed back. I love the position I'm in. No more holding onto the wheel for dear life through the turns, the seat keeps me perfectly planted so steering is much easier when cornering.

Also, the car is black.

As for 5th gear, I meant that it's much more useful on the highway. It doesn't lug anymore, requiring a downshift to 4th. I can just roll on it and it gets up to speed very easily.

Thanks for the compliments, guys.

that might be true, but these things weigh a frickin ton!

also...race seats belong in a race car.

Well technically, don't catless midpipes only belong on race cars, since they're designated for "off-road use only?" The fixed back might be overkill, but I got a steal on it, and it's a modification just like any other modification to the car. It helps me handle it better and feel more planted in the cockpit, which to me is one of the most important things when driving: stability in the driver's seat.

haha well played...i really dig the seat and it goes great with your car. youre right, bride normally are for imports/jdm, but its just a brand of seat. h&r springs are german i believe, and a lot of people use them one here. toyo are japanese tires and more than one or 2 two people on here run them. and i ami sure there are a lot of foreign made products that people put on their stangs. its just a brand...now when people start putting nissan motors in our cars, i might start getting a little bent. wait, i think they did that in a movie...
