I have over 30K miles and all I did recently was change the fuel filter. I routinely do my own oil changes and fuel system cleaner every 8k-10k (with the oil change). Other than that, I don't think anything else is really NECESSARY. Ford will hose you for a whole bunch of usless things. Check the maintenance manual included with the Owners Manual.

Would this be a good filter or do yall use something else?

I just passed 30k and expected a beating since I basically went to my dealership and said "I need whatever you recommend for the 30k service". I was surprised to be out of there with an oil change (which I knew I needed) and a tire rotation. They said they checked a bunch of things, and everything looked fine. Total cost was 65 or so.
Keep in mind my fuel filter was changed prior to this, and I have a manual.

I (and others) have bought fuel filters from Autozone for about $8.99.
I run Techron Fuel System Cleaner, available at WalMart, every oil change (which is about every 8k-10k miles for me) through the fuel tank.

I didn't think a tune-up was necessary until 100k? Replace serpentine belt at 60k, keep up with regular oil changes and things should be fine. The maintenance manual looks insane--it seems like Ford wants to see you at the dealership every couple thousand miles or so!

Common sense is the word here. Fluid changes at your comfort level. Use Ford's service manual as recommendations. People waste a lot of money doing things too early. And if some of you youngsters will learn to DIY NOW, you'll save THOUSANDS over your lifetime.
