True, I've always thought of Vettes as a more well rounded 'sports car' where as a Mustang has always been brute force *even if it's not as good at that brute force part as the sports car corvette is*
damn i gotta say the guy drivin the 500 isnt drivin it hard...... in 2nd vid it sounds like he was in to high of a gear for the speed he was going.... i think theres a closer race with those cars then that......
As far as taking one over the other. To be honest, after all the f-bodies I've had, the Vette BY FAR is the most talked about. Even my last car, which would beat the ground and set off car alarms everywhere I went. Everyone loves the Vette, even the Mustang guys. I think I'd have to pick a C6 over a GT500 because, afterall, everyone has a Mustang. To the average person, that doesn't know any better, a GT500 is just another Mustang.
I'm more of a function over form kinda guy, which in this case is both cars, but man it's amazing how many people will just line up and look at the Vette over my other f-bodies. Plus it feels like you're driving a overpowered go kart if you decide to turn it.
damn vettes are light....but a pos canned tune picks up at least 50whp on the KR. And we won't even get into a smaller pulley
.
Those seemed to be pretty short races...over 120 the vette has a major aero advantage. But a pulleyed KR will put down 600+...
Isn't there some new aluminum block 5.4??? thats the one I want.
