basically everything i can. like what material the block is made from, dimensions, how many valves, what type bolt main. i know you are probably laughing at me, but i really want to learn about this 5 oh. it would be great if there was a website that listed all the stats about the stock motor.

well, the block is cast iron(as are the stock heads), 2 valves per cylinder, 2 bolt main(can be drilled for 4).
the most common foxes were the late 80s early 90s, which came with 225bhp and 300btrq.. about 9.0:1 compression ratio, 4" bore with a 3" stroke, 5.4" rod length(i think)..
i'll try and find some more.

this is for the 87-93 5.0
forged internals unless its a 93 motor, then it had cast pistons, hydraulic roller lifters, roller cam 266* duration .444 lift, 60-64cc combustion chambers, 60 mm throttle body

there really is not enough material in the web to convert a 302 to a proper four bolt main configuration. even if you made your own main caps, and used bolts that were small enough to prevent creating stress risers in the block, the gain in strength would be minimal at best. if you want a four bolt main 302, then find on old boss 302 block, buy a new boss 302 block, or get an after market block.

unless you're shooting for 800+hp or 7000+rpm, a 2bolt will be fine.
